Today, I will embark on the next major journey of my life: perusing my undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame. With this being said, all of Running on Sugar’s operations will be paused. I want to thank each and everyone of you who has made my dream of owning and operating my own home bakery a reality. And while I’m not sure that Running on Sugar will ever operate as it once did—for my future is quite uncertain at this point—I will be able to fulfill orders for Christmas when I am home on break. Summer is here and so are new subscription desserts for the month of June! The regular items consist of bright lemon blueberry cheesecakes and decadent buckeye pie. Or for the premium item, I’ve returned a fan favorite from last summer: goat cheese mousse cups with balsamic berry compote and crunchy almond crumble.

I will be able to fulfill requests for the month between June 19 and June 28th.

May is here! This month, subscription holders have more delicious options! First up is my (almost) famous banana pudding. Lightened pudding layered with slices of banana and vanilla wafers makes this dessert irresistible. Or, if you’re a lemon lover, you’re going to love the lemon pie, a spin on the classic key lime option, with a graham cracker crust. And finally, the premium option is Kentucky Derby inspired; toasted pecans and semi-sweet chocolate chips make this pie a winner!

April is here, and so are new dessert options! The first two options are Easter inspired. The carrot cake cheesecakes are my family’s dessert of choice for the holiday, and the white chocolate mousse cups are inspired by the classic candy eggs. Lastly, in an effort to hang on to those tropical spring break vibes, I’ve included the mini upside down cakes.

If you’d like your dessert for Easter, orders must be placed by Wednesday. Easter desserts will be ready for pickup on Friday.

It’s the best time of the month! New desserts are here! First up, I’m offering the ultimate sweet and salty treats: the classic chocolate chip cookie made even richer with the addition of brown butter and salty bacon. Then, in celebration of spring break, the famed key lime pie. Finally, the premium item is inspired by St. Patrick’s Day (and partly by the shamrock shake): my classic mini cheesecakes with an Oreo crust, infused with mint flavor and loaded with chocolate chips.

This month, I’ve got desserts you’ll love! The premium item consists of mini mousse cakes, which are layered with an Oreo crust, chocolate mousse, and semi-sweet chocolate ganache. 🎶It’s the most wonderful time of the year🎶Tis the season and this month’s subscription offers are full of holiday cheer! The premium item is a buckeye pie. Although not technically a Christmas dessert, this rich, decadent option is a favorite for a reason 😉. Additionally, there are sugar cookie truffles, which are bite-sized portions of edible sugar cookie dough coated in white chocolate. (They’re my family’s favorite Christmas “cookie.”) And lastly, it wouldn’t be the holidays without chocolate and peppermint. So, I’m offering my tried and true chocolate cupcakes with a peppermint buttercream.

The holiday menu is here!!! All of last year's favorites are back, as well as a few new additions that are equally delicious. The items on the holiday menu will be available through New Year's Day in order to satisfy all of your Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's needs! The last day for Thanksgiving pick-up is Monday, November 21. All Thanksgiving orders must be placed by Wednesday, November 16th. Order availability is first come first serve, so get your orders in now!

Please be aware that there is a slight price increase on menu items and subscription memberships due to the rising costs of ingredients. I apologize for any inconveniences that this may cause. Thank you all for your continued support!

It’s November! You know what that means: family, friends, FOOD! For November’s options, I’ve decided to keep it classic with pumpkin and apple. The premium item is the pumpkin cheesecake—a rich, creamy cheesecake infused with pumpkin and spice. For the regular items, there is the pumpkin roll and mini apple pies. The pumpkin roll is my personal Thanksgiving favorite. My family makes it every year, and it wouldn’t be thanksgiving without it. But if you’re craving something apple, the mini apple pies are also sure to please!

Please note that the last day to pickup subscription orders before Thanksgiving will be Monday, November 21st.
