My heart breaks as I write this post. We have lost the most precious soul and heart of this restaurant. Hiawatha always had a smile on his face and was always in the best mood, no matter what was happening in his life. He was a positive person who always told me everything was going to be okay when I was stressing about business. He was my go-to person for hugs, reassurance, and positivity. I remember the first day I met him; it was during construction, and he came in looking for a job. Although we were not open, I knew I needed him. He did various tasks, such as staining wood and sweeping floors. When I say he has been here since the beginning, I mean it. So when you visit and want to remember him, just look around the restaurant because he is everywhere. We love you always, Hiawatha, and you will forever be missed and loved. Rest easy, my dear friend ❤️.
