With heavy hearts, we are writing to share some difficult news. High Cotton Kitchen will be closing its doors on January 18th at 8PM.

For almost 5 wonderful years, you have been the heart of our restaurant, allowing us to be part of your celebrations, family dinners, and everyday moments. We are incredibly grateful for your unwavering support and for the friendships we've built. It has been an honor to serve you and contribute to this amazing community.

This decision was not made lightly, but it is time for us to begin a new chapter. We cherish every memory made within our walls and thank you for being part of our journey.

Please plan to visit us in these final days for one last meal and to share your stories. All gift cards must be used by our closing date. We'll do our best to serve you, though some items may sell out as we approach the end.

Thank you for everything. We wish you and your families all the best and hope our paths cross again.

We just want to thank all of you for all the sweet condolences for our family. It has been so overwhelming and touches our hearts. We are updating our hours at the restaurant at this time so that we will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until further notice. BUT WE HAVE BEEN AND ARE STILL OPEN :)

So many of you have asked what you can do to help during this time. The absolute BEST way to help us is to support our business at this time by eating at our restaurant. This not only helps me and our girls but also the 20 employees who depend on us to take care of their own families.

So come on in to High Cotton Kitchen and let our staff love on you and serve you some awesome Southern comfort food! We love you all and are so blessed by our customers.

Today, I lost my jovial, sweet husband of 32 years. Most of you know him as the High Cotton Kitchen guy in the videos, but he was also a father to 9 children, a grandfather and a friend to SO many. He loved the Lord with all his heart. Though we are comforted by the fact he is in a better place, we are all still in disbelief that he is gone. Please be in prayer for our children at this time. We are still processing everything, but I did want to announce funeral information to friends.

Visitation: Tuesday, January 6th, Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, Paris, Texas 5PM-7PM
Funeral: Wednesday, January 7th, Leesville Baptist Church, Bagwell, Texas 10:30 AM. Interment following at Leesville Cemetery.
