The Niño Brown is made with pork steak, grilled onions, pineapple, and melted cheese. But here’s the fun part… pineapple wasn’t originally part of the recipe!
Many years ago, one of our amazing customers, Lauren Biddle, started adding pineapple to her Niño Brown while she was pregnant with her son. She loved it so much that it quickly became one of our favorite custom orders.
As many of you know, El Niño Brown has proudly served the Bourbon County community for over 12 years. After the pandemic, we reopened with a fresh start, and one of the first things we did was make Lauren’s version of the Niño Brown the official recipe.
To Lauren, thank you for inspiring one of our favorite dishes.
