After days of taking some time to process, I figured I’d come on here for an update on Annie’s
After 6 years of being around we’ve had to make the sad decision of closing our doors.
A couple weeks ago, we experienced a devastating fire that forced us to close our doors. We poured so much time, energy, and money into getting Annie’s back open because we truly believed we could keep going. We fought hard to recover, and we were so grateful to be able to welcome everyone back.
Unfortunately, after reopening, business became extremely slow. The truth is, things had already been difficult, our business was slowly dying but the fire and everything that followed made it harder than we could overcome. We continued to put everything we could into keeping the doors open, but eventually, we had to accept that it was time to let go of Annie’s
Annie’s was never just a restaurant to us. It was our home, where we welcomed all of you guys to come and have the best time. We loved meeting every single one of you! I’ll miss all of our regulars who I could rant to and ask for advice about absolutely anything. We’re going to miss every single one of you more than you can imagine and we hope to see you again in the future.
To every one who supported us since 2020, whether you came in regularly or maybe just once, thank you. Thank you for eating with us, recommending us, sharing our posts, bringing your families, and giving us the opportunity to serve this community!
Sometimes you can give something everything you have and still have to accept that it’s time to close that chapter. This is one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but we know it’s time.
Thank you for six wonderful years. Thank you for believing in Annie’s and thank you for the amazing memories we shared here ❤️
On a positive note, we may have some different ideas up our sleeves so this may not be a definite goodbye and maybe even a project or two in the works! Stay tuned to see where this new journey may take us! Once again we’re more than grateful to have been able to serve our beautiful community
