Hey Friends!!
We apologize to anyone we didn't have the opportunity to serve today. Our friends at the Wheelhouse unfortunately had to close, and we simply didn't have time to bring on extra staff. Things happen, and we feel for them, as we have been in the same boat many times. However, I want to publicly say how proud we are of the team here at The INN.
We had some very angry people leaving because of the wait time, and as much as I'd like to wave a wand and take care of everyone at once, it just doesn't work out that way sometimes. We will make sure that our staff goes home tonight with their heads held high, as they couldn't have worked any harder to make things happen. We even had a couple team members from Paradise Lakefront Lodge jump in to help where they could.
Please remember, we get it. You're on vacation, its hot, you're tired and hungry, and the last thing you want to hear is that it is going to be and hour or more before you get seated.
Also try to remember, it's not anyone's fault these things happen sometimes, and the people busting their butts trying to make it go faster do not have a target on their back.
We sincerely thank our guests today that understood, and showed incredible patience, kindness, and generosity to all of us here at The INN, and we look forward to doing it all over again tomorrow.
