Hey everyone, I know there have been a lot of questions and concerns for what is going on with us, we have made a decision to run all carry out through The Pit Lounge.
This is for many reasons, but mostly because things have been pretty slow for the last couple months, and this will allow me to go out and work to provide for myself and my kids through the winter and get back to BBQ come baseball season up at Werner Park.
Brian and his staff at The Pit Lounge are doing a great job keeping the flavor profile consistent and providing a much broader menu with some outstanding appetizers, sandwiches and specialties all available for carry out.
I thank everyone for the support and love as always, and appreciate the continued support while I am away.
If you haven’t dined in yet, I would encourage you to do so as it is a beautiful spot with everything you all wished I’d had all along🤣🤣
Ice Cold Beer, Keno, Game Room,
and the same BBQ you’ve come to know and love.

We are no longer using GRUBHUB
at Papio Pit. The reason is simple.
This service continues to send drivers before we can accept and confirm orders. This is not acceptable as what we have available constantly changes and we will always take care of those who walk in before any delivery or phone order.
I personally shell out $$ to drivers who’s time and gas is wasted when this happens and with plenty of phone calls and complaints about the problem, it continues daily.
I believe DOORDASH handles all of this in a completely more professional and courteous manner, so we will continue to use their service exclusively for the time being. Please understand my stance on this and if you are looking for delivery of our food, jump over and use DOORDASH. I apologize to the faithful GRUBHUB users, but I’m fed up and their was no fix in sight.

We will also be closed for carry out tomorrow to enjoy the last game at Werner Park.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we want to celebrate together on all we have accomplished at the ballpark, so it’s going to be a “family” day.

The Lounge is Open for Dine in.
