Hi everyone, we was initially going to ignore this article written by [email protected]

https://patch.com/pennsylvania/westchester/four-chesco-eateries-top-restaurant-inspection-violations

Here’s the explanation: We purchased the restaurant during Fall of 2019 when it was the previous RedHound Grilled. They have closed since February of 2019. When Covid wave swept through United States we had to make the painful decision to pause renovation throughout 2020. Fast forward to beginning for this year we resume renovation to rebuild again the restaurant, because of the condition RedHound Grilled left, the building required significant restoration work. We called the department of health to schedule a pre walkthrough of the building in April 13th so we can work on all the issues. She cited us for the 11 violations because it’s required for her to write down even if it’s a preliminary inspection. Bare in mind, WE HAVEN’T EVEN OPEN for business yet. All the violations she wrote down is from the previous restaurant conditions it left us. Fast forward a week later our team get to work day and night to clean everything up from the previous vacant RedHound, all the dust and debris from the constructions, new equipments for the kitchens. When we finally are ready to go, we call the department of health for opening inspection on May 13th. We passed and decide to have a grand opening date set for May 18th 2021.

Now, this Patch article headline made a lot of our customers called us and inquired about it. Our misinformed customers treated the article as if we are open for business and had the violation. Covid have already been a setback for our staffs, employees and their family. And this article is certainly very harmful as misleading lots of our customers/ potential customers. We just want to work hard, feed our family. If it’s certain things we had done that’s not right, we will take responsibility for it. Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this. Feel free to share this post to anyone who’s misinformed. To many who have know us throughout the years, thank you again for the support!

In Chester County, 16 restaurants inspected had code violations recently, and of those, four had 10 or more. Here's what was found.
