It's been a while since I posted ,, maybe because there's no new news ,,,, still trying to get ready for inspection . We made good progress the last couple days ,,, yay !
Tomorrow I will be at the wattsflats church with a table full of baked goods . Come check us out . This is just my personal baking brought to you as tryouts for future menu choices .

We're making progress ! I painted the floor today , the health department comes out tomorrow ,, not for final inspection but to guide us through on what we need for final inspection. We have a tentative open date ,,may 15 is our goal ,,if that changes you will see the update here .
In the meantime I'm still getting the bread recipe perfected ,,,,

Family Night Pizza is coming back.

We’ve officially announced all the favorites you already know and love — and we’re just getting started.

What we’re building isn’t just a pizza shop. The vision is more of an artisan-style space. A place where quality matters. Where ingredients matter. Where the process matters.

Yes, we’ll have pizza (regular crust or fresh ground wheat).
Yes, we’ll have homemade breads and baked goods.
But we’re also doing something a little different…

We’ll have an on-site grain mill. 🌾
You can bring your own wheat berries and grind fresh flour right here.
Or, if you have a specific type of wheat you prefer, you’ll be able to plan ahead and order it freshly milled just for you.

We want this to be a place that feels intentional. Thoughtful. Rooted in real food and real community.

And speaking of community — we would love your help getting the word out locally 🤍

There is something special about grinding the wheat fresh, mixing the dough by hand, and watching it rise on the counter.
This isn’t just bread. It’s the foundation of what we hope our future pizza + bread + pie shop will be built on — simple, wholesome, made from scratch. 🍞
Right now I’m perfecting our fresh-ground whole wheat sandwich loaf.
If a local shop offered bread like this every week… would you want in?

I’ve been experimenting with fresh-milled flour, and I’m officially hooked.
I’ve done three different batches so far, and honestly… each one has turned out better than the last. With this most recent batch, I finally felt ready to share the results with others — because when something keeps improving like this, it feels meant to be shared.

We are feeling so incredibly blessed by the response to our first Family Night Pizza post. Thank you all for the excitement, encouragement, and support — it truly means more than you know. ❤️
We are so excited to bring Family Night Pizza back with our original recipes — the same dough, sauce, and pizzas you’ve loved. But what we’re most excited about is something new we’ve been planning for a long time…
We will be offering a diabetes-friendly crust made with freshly milled wheat flour. Fresh-milled flour keeps the grain intact, so your body knows how to use all of it — meaning it digests more slowly and doesn’t spike blood sugar the way heavily processed flour can. It’s a more nourishing, whole-food option that we feel really good about serving our community.
We’ll also be offering: 🍞 Fresh bread made with this same flour
🍩 Donuts made with this flour — available Fridays or Saturdays only
