Rebuilding our home during the day and building our business at night, we tweaked our recipes and created unique and classic crepes for our friends to enjoy. Meet the Business Owner Business owner information Chris C. Business Owner Classically trained as a chef and having earned his food science degree in 1994, Chris has served in foodservice for over 33 years. Liz is fighting — and we need your help.
Three weeks ago Liz came home after 35 days in the hospital following necrotizing fasciitis, a cerebellar stroke, and a new diabetes diagnosis. Wednesday she had a medical emergency and is back in the hospital receiving the care she needs.
Today she was more herself than she has been since this all began. She is sharp, she is present, and she is fighting hard.
We are fighting alongside her — but we need support to keep covering her medications and ongoing care.
If you can give, anything helps.
If you can share, please share.
Link in bio — every dollar and every share makes a difference.
Thank you for being in our corner. 💙

She came home.
On June 19th, after 35 days in the ICU and inpatient rehabilitation, Liz walked through our front door.
I want to say that again, because when she went in on May 15th I didn't know if I'd ever type those words.
She walked through our front door.
She still has a walker. She still has diabetes to manage every single day. She still has physical therapy ahead of her, follow-up neurology appointments, medications, and a body that fought a war and is still learning what it can do. Coming home isn't the end of the road — it's the beginning of a different, harder, quieter part of it. The part without a rehab team cheering every step. The part where it's just us.
The bills from those 35 days don't care that she's home. The insulin and supplies don't stop. The PT doesn't stop. The income still isn't there — Crepe & Cream is listed for sale and I am waiting on a new position to start. We are still standing in the gap.
But she is home. And I am not taking that for granted for a single second.
If you gave before — thank you. You helped get her here. If you shared before — thank you. You brought people into her corner who didn't even know her name.
If you've been waiting to see how the story turned out — this is how: she fought like hell and she came home. And we still need you.
Every dollar still matters. Every share still matters.

Our Crepe & Cream family has always shown up for us — now we need you more than ever.
Many of you already know that Liz has been in the ICU since May 15th. What started as a painful cyst turned into emergency surgery for Necrotizing Fasciitis — flesh-eating bacteria — caused by undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes that had silently compromised her immune system. Three days later, she suffered a stroke.
She is fighting. She took her first steps with a walker this week and the whole rehab team cheered. But the road ahead is long, and with our business closed and no income coming in, we need your help.
Every dollar, every share, every prayer matters.
Thank you for seven years of showing up for us. Now we're asking you to show up for Liz. 🧡

A Message From Crepe & Cream 🥞

To our incredible community — our regulars, our event families, our Make-A-Wish riders, and everyone who has shown up for us over the years — we want to be transparent with you.

As many of you know, Liz has been hospitalized and is now entering inpatient rehabilitation following emergency surgery and a stroke. Her recovery is our entire focus right now, and it will be for months to come.

Because of this, Crepe & Cream will be closing its doors until we find the right buyer to carry this business forward. We are not disappearing — we are making sure this truck, these recipes, and this community land in good hands.

Crepe & Cream is officially for sale. If you know someone who has dreamed of owning a thriving, turnkey food truck business with a loyal following, booked events, and seven years of love built into every crepe — please send them our way.

This community built something special here. We will make sure it lives on.

Thank you for seven beautiful years. We love every single one of you.

Crepe & Cream Family —

We wanted to give you an update on Liz, because you've shown up for us in such a big way and you deserve to know.

She made it through her second surgery today. ✅ The doctors have confirmed they've addressed the infection, and she is resting in a private bed under close care. Her blood pressure is finally stabilizing, and while recovery will take time, she is fighting hard — and honestly, that's exactly what we expected from her. 💪

Your prayers, messages, and love have meant more than we can put into words. On the hardest days, knowing this community is behind us has kept us steady.

The truck will be quiet a little while longer while Liz heals — she is our heart, and right now she needs all of ours. But we will be back. That's a promise. 🥰

Keep the prayers coming. They are working.

With so much gratitude,
Chris & Liz

Crepe and Cream will be temporarily closed while my wife recovers from surgery. She is my partner in every sense of the word and her health comes first. We are so grateful for this community's love and support. We will be back. — Chris
