Originally from North Miami Beach, his passion for food began in 1982 at age 14 working after school at Wolfie Cohen's Rascal House a Jewish delicatessen located at the intersection of 172nd Street and Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. When he was 17 years old, Keith took ownership of his first restaurant The Greek on the Creek on Tavernier Creek in the Florida Keys. The restaurant was family owned and operated by Keith, his sister Kim Norrie and his mother Billie Stewart, and experienced years of success. Over the past 40 years, Keith has honed his craft in a multitude of notorious restaurants throughout the Keys, Central, and North Florida. In 1998 Keith put down roots in Panama City Beach. In his time here in North Florida, he has contributed to opening and establishing a few local restaurants. Keith has always had the dream to own a food truck with the vision to share some of his favorite menu items with foodies everywhere. Keith and Kim Norrie have teamed up once again and The Salty Chef Food Truck is the dream realized.
