Election time again, so why should you vote. One to send a message to the others. You’re replaceable.
With so many important issues on the table that are not being address Wakulla County Commissioners address non issues that most citizens don’t care about like how many days RV can stay in a campground. Wakulla doesn’t have enough available subsidies for low income senior citizens or young families. Most citizens know someone in this situation. Cost have out paced income. Wakulla Commissioners need to be more selective in which issues they make a priority. Just to pass an ordinance to make RV parks move RV vehicles from one space to another is a waste of time and energy by Commissioners. Not to say a violation of the customer’s Rights. Does Wakulla County have an Ordinance on how stupid a Elected Officials can be. Law is violated all the time by Elected Officials just because a law or ordinance goes unchallenged does not mean it’s good law. Hiding failure from citizens and spending Millions of taxpayer dollars in lawsuits doesn’t mean it did not happen. I for one hope the lawsuit with Ex Building Official against the Wakulla County is resolved in favor of the plaintiff. He would not have gotten this far if the County acted properly.
