Join Apothecarri And Tea this October for a hands-on Elderberry Syrup Workshop. We’ll explore elderberry and the herbs traditionally paired with it, then make a batch of elderberry syrup together for you to take home.

The Sturgeon Full Moon rises in Pisces under the heightened energy of an eclipse — a moon traditionally associated with abundance, transition, intuition, and the changing of seasons.

This month’s Lunar Elixir takes a deeper, bitter turn with an Herbalist Spritz inspired blend crafted around traditional liver and digestive support.

Organic cane sugar creates the base, layered with bright orange and grapefruit peel, tart schisandra berry and hibiscus, and a complex blend of bitter roots and botanicals: burdock, dandelion, gentian, yellow dock, licorice, echinacea, pau d’arco, and angelica root.

Earthy, citrusy, tart and pleasantly bitter, this Lunar Elixir was created in the spirit of the classic herbal aperitif — where bitter botanicals meet the ritual of the cocktail glass.

🌕 BUCK MOON • Lunar Elixir: Blueberry Basil

The Buck Moon arrives during the heart of summer, traditionally named for the time when a buck’s new antlers are growing in. This year’s Buck Moon falls in Aquarius, bringing themes of growth, individuality, change, and looking toward what comes next.

For this Lunar Elixir, I wanted to lean into that idea of growth and adaptation with a blend centered around botanicals traditionally used as adaptogens, paired with bright blueberry and fresh basil.

🫐 Blueberry + Basil create the flavor foundation, layered with lemon myrtle, hibiscus and orange peel for a bright, tart, citrusy finish.

🌿 Schisandra berry + Holy Basil are the heart of this blend. Both are traditionally classified as adaptogenic herbs, used to support the body’s ability to adapt to physical and mental stress. Lavender and red clover round out the botanicals for a softer, more balanced finish.

Like the buck growing a new set of antlers, this moon carries a reminder that growth doesn’t always mean becoming someone different. Sometimes it’s about building on what’s already there and becoming more fully yourself.
