🚨 OK, BEEF PEOPLE… WE NEED ANSWERS. 🚨

We already know Italian beef is one of those foods where everybody has an opinion. 😂

But we just saw something that got us thinking…

IF you add cheese to your Italian beef, where does it belong?

🧀 A: Melted directly onto the bread FIRST, then the beef goes on top.

🔥 B: Beef first, cheese on TOP so it melts all over the beef.

😳 C: Cheese on an Italian beef?! Absolutely not.

And because we know this is coming…

🥣 You asked, we listened — here’s this week’s soup lineup at Joe’s!

So many of you have been asking what soups Reenie is making each day, so we’re going to do our best to keep you posted!

Our plan is to post the first half of the week on Sundays, then check back in Wednesday or Thursday with the weekend lineup. Of course, Reenie still gets a little creative freedom — so if she decides to change things up, we’re going with it. ❤️

🍲 Monday: Cream of Chicken Gnocchi
🥣 Tuesday: Reenie’s Chicken Dumpling — because some traditions don’t change!
🍜 Wednesday: Chicken Noodle
🥄 Thursday: Split Pea

Then of course we have our homemade minestrone everyday!

💳 A little thing we think matters.

You’ve probably noticed that more and more businesses are adding a credit card processing fee when you pay with a card.

At Joe’s, we’ve made the decision not to pass that fee along to you.

Credit card processing fees are a real expense for us — just like electricity, payroll, pizza bags, and all the other costs that come with running a restaurant.

But the way we look at it, accepting credit cards is simply part of doing business today. If we choose to accept them, we feel the cost of accepting them belongs to us — not you.

So whether you pay with cash or card, the price on the menu is the price you pay. ❤️🍕

It may be a small thing, but it’s one of the ways we want to take care of the people who continue to support our little family-owned restaurant.

Apparently Facebook likes when businesses ask people to LIKE & FOLLOW their page… so here we are. 😂

We’re just a humble little family-owned pizza place in Palos Heights, making all of the things homemade, just like we always have — meatballs, Italian beef, sausage links, lasagna, and an entire pizza made from scratch, from the dough to the sauce. Even our sausage is homemade, and our cheese is a blend of three cheeses. Of course, there’s Reenie’s soup, too, along with introducing you to some of the characters who make Joe’s what it is and occasionally starting very serious arguments about things like whether pepperoni belongs under or over the cheese. 🍕😂
