Hi, I’m Nick, and I have the pleasure of leading the beverage program here at Kappo.
For me, a great beverage pairing should feel like a natural extension of the food— something that complements the dish, brings out details you might not have noticed, and adds depth to the experience.
Kappo’s core philosophy, our desire to express the beauty and diversity of California, extends through our beverage program: everything on our list is sourced domestically. The thoughtful selection of west coast wine, beer, and sake reflect the seasonality and creativity of our menu. The pairings are at times classic, at others unexpected.
Above all, I hope the beverage experience at Kappo feels considered yet effortless— an extension of the hospitality we offer across the counter.
