This weekend my family did something truly special — they headed out to a beautiful farm in Brentwood and picked cherries, right alongside the local farmers. 🌿👨‍🌾

They only hand-picked the freshest, ripest cherries — because nothing less deserves a place in our kitchen. And by going directly to the farm, we get to support our hardworking local farmers the way they deserve to be supported. It's a relationship built on trust, freshness, and love for real food.

Back at La Bohème, we turned those gorgeous cherries into a classic French Clafoutis — a rustic, silky baked custard dessert studded with whole sweet cherries, gently perfumed with vanilla, and kissed with a golden top. It's tender, luscious, and not too sweet the kind of dish that wraps you in warmth with every single bite. ✨

Originally from the Limousin region of France, Clafoutis is one of those timeless recipes that tastes like countryside, Sunday mornings, and something your grandmother would have made. 🇫🇷
