Meet Carmen Morello, Sales Manager at Dinah’s Garden Hotel. 🌿

For Carmen, one of the best parts of the job is getting to introduce people to Dinah’s for the very first time. There’s something especially fun about walking a new client through the property, sharing a little of its history along the way, and watching them realize just how much there is to discover beyond the entrance.

Much of her day is spent making those connections, from group inquiries, proposals, and site visits to prospecting new business and working alongside the team to bring each group’s experience together.

She has a particular soft spot for Dinah’s during the holidays, when the property gets its Christmas glow-up. And her advice for first-time guests is simple: don’t rush through. Take a walk, wander the grounds, and give yourself time to take it all in!

Check in, spend the afternoon by the pool, and grab a bite at before heading over for the game. Afterward, come back to your cozy room, enjoy a nightcap on the patio overlooking the lagoon, and ease into Sunday with breakfast al fresco by the water, surrounded by greenery. 🌿

When we say get lost in nature, we mean it. 🌿

Wander beneath a canopy of greenery, cross a Japanese-style bridge, follow the sound of cascading water, and find koi ponds and lagoons tucked among exotic plants and unexpected works of art. Our tropical gardens were designed to feel immersive, a little transportive, and very far removed from the usual Silicon Valley stay.

A little Dinah’s history, with a splash of rum. 🍹

Before there was Trader Vic’s, there was Dinah’s Shack, the little restaurant just next door that gave us our name. Years later, Trader Vic’s opened on that same site in 2001, becoming the first new U.S. location in 28 years.

Trader Vic’s may have closed in 2012, but one classic never really left.

You can still order the Trader Vic’s Classic Mai Tai at our on-site Dinah’s Poolside Restaurant, made with rum, Trader Vic’s Dark Rum, orange curaçao, lime juice, and orgeat.

When the workday winds down, classes are done, or you’re simply settling into your stay, head to Dinah's Poolside Restaurant for a drink in the sun!

Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 2:30–6 PM, with a delicious menu of light bites, plus specially priced cocktails, w**e, and b**r.

A pretty good reason to call it a day a little early!
