Yesterday was the first day my husband and I were able to get to Frosty to start working as we were busy trying to save our home.
I woke up with such a grateful heart this morning. As I just sat and reflected, I thought what an incredible community we have. We are so blessed.
Thank you Suncoast Baptist Church for waiting in traffic 2 hours to come and help us. It was just myself and Levi and we felt completely overwhelmed with where to even start. We had a batch freezer, chest freezer and deli cabinet all knocked over on their sides. 70 tubs of melted ice cream to throw out, pints, toppings, syrups etc. Not including all the inventory for our second shop AMI SK8. We lost most of our watch, sunglasses and skateboard inventory as well.
They came in with food, cold drinks, made a plan and got to work. I'm amazed at the progress we made in just 1 day.
I thank God He led us to this church. Thank you Suncoast for your prayers, friendship, laughs and the help not only at our business but our home as well.

Thank you to the 2 boys that came to us asking if they could help. They stayed most of the day and worked so hard. They even brought a case of water to fill our cooler before they left. Thank you so much!

Thank you to our building owner George Stellas and his family for staying all day and helping each business in the building clean up and throw things away.

Thank you Will Wright aka Olaf. Many of you have seen Will dancing in front of Frosty on the weekends. He stopped by to bring cold drinks.

Thank you to Bella, Emily, Maggie, Cait and Justin (Frosty Crew) for personally reaching out to see if we were ok and offering to help.

Thank you to our daughters Mari, Sophi, Isabel and their friends Adia and Amanda that have helped clean, pack, get supplies, set up a go fund me, etc.

Thank you to our friends and family that have called, texted and prayed for us. This means the world to us.

Last but not least a very special thank you to our Frosty Oasis customers. Thank you for supporting us! We couldn't have done it without your support and encouragement.
We enjoyed getting to know the locals of AMI that would come in regularly. We were so excited when we got our first customer to say "I'll have my usual!"
To the vacationers that came to visit. Thank you. We enjoyed talking with you, hearing where you're from and your adventures on Anna Maria Island. We look forward to seeing you on the island again soon.

We will reopen October 1st, 2024.
Thank you so much for a wonderful summer. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you.
