Salsa Lovers 🔥I did not forget about you! I have been recovering from the fair 😊

Let me re-introduce myself, Natalie Gomez 👋🏼 Owner and operator of Dalia's Salsa 🍅

Just finished up my 28th year at the Alaska State Fair 🌮 My parents started the fair when I was 1 years old & now are on our 3rd booth Gomez Family Mexican Food 🌮 We are still closing up the fair so I appreciate your patience with me.

A couple things about me: I love music, dancing every day, concerts, traveling, playing sports, working out, fishing for reds, cooking, delicious coffee and eating yummy food! I am obsessed with my dog/son Ollie and love to get him outside every day ☀️💦

I can’t believe I started Dalia’s Salsa with my mom 6 years ago! Time flies but I love doing pop-ups, events, & farmers markets in Alaska and sharing my mothers yummy salsa with everyone! I love my momma Dalia & love Dahlia flowers 🪷 I am a proud Colombian, Mexican, Alaskan 🇨🇴🇲🇽 Were a special breed 🔥

Thank you to Kaladi Brothers Coffee for the unexpected photo shoot at the fair - I would have tried to look a little better 🙂 but this is me, working & busy! While I catch up on sleep, here is our next pop-up! Thank you for supporting us year to year!

Day 5 of the Alaska State Fair 🌮 Beautiful Jenevieve is here to take your order 😊

Thank you to all our amazing customers who have been with us from the start and all the new customers we have had today & this fair season!

We are honored to have received 🥇First Place Outstanding Food Vendor this year & found it’s voted from a panel of non Fair related volunteers. The Alaska State Fair pulls people from the community each year to keep it non bias. We are honored! 🙏🏽 Thank you again!

Each day we plan to showcase each of our food items! We are known for our fried tacos “taco fritos” but we have so many amazing items on our menu! Come by!

Today’s showcase it’s our incredible enchiladas! Have you tried them? We offer meat or cheese options! Delicioso 🔥 Ask for some lettuce, sour cream, & Dalia's Salsa

We close at 10 pm! Come get your 4th or 10th meal!

Where does the fried taco come from? You won’t see this beauty working at the booth but Dalia is our backbone at the fair ❤️ The Colombiana of the family🔥

Dalia’s favorite food is vegetables and has always wanted her husband and kids to eat them like her. Dalia started sneaking mixed veggies in her tacos back in the 90’s. After 18 years at the fair from 1989-2007, the Gomez family closed up shop and took a 9 year break, coming back in 2016 to the Bonanza booth. We were perfecting our large menu of Mexican favorites and ended up asking Dalia if we can add the fried taco to the fair menu. She laughed and said “that’s not going to sell” 2023, we got a new booth and moved locations. 3 years at Gomez Family Mexican Food & receiving the 2026 Outstanding Vendor Award 🥇 We are extremely thankful to Dalia for sharing all her wonderful recipes with us.

We are known for our fried tacos but don’t be afraid to try our enchiladas, tostadas, burritos, beans, & rice! Everything is homemade! Dalia also helped her daughter, Natalie start Dalia's Salsa 🔥 We were stoked to serve her invention of fried tacos & Dalia’s Salsa this past Monday.

Let’s not forget her husband, Carlos has perfected them items over the years & is killin’ in the kitchen, along with his sous chef, Lau🔥
