🍋🚂 These young entrepreneurs are on the right track!

Last Saturday, we were delighted to welcome The Conductors Lemonade to Antique Junction during our pop-up vendor event as part of Lemonade Day—a wonderful initiative encouraging entrepreneurship in our younger generation!

Their railroad-themed lemonade stand was the perfect fit for Palmer, the Town of Seven Railroads. From the striped conductor hats to the red kerchiefs, they put so much thought and creativity into every detail. How cute—and enterprising—is that? ❤️

A big thank-you to the organizers and families helping these young business owners turn their ideas into reality. We loved being a small part of their journey, and seeing them featured in the local newspaper makes it even sweeter!

Some discoveries are simply meant to be. At two different times in my life, in two completely different places, I found two broken pieces of a plate. When I finally brought them together, they fit perfectly—like they were destined to find their way back to each other…and to us. ❤️.

We’ve created a special booklet at the restaurant filled with photographs documenting our journey restoring the historic Palmer station.

In this early picture, only one of the original main doors remained—the door on the right. My husband, Blake, carefully reproduced all the missing doors. After much negotiation, the previous owner also returned the original hinges, whose distinctive design reflected Richardson’s remarkable architectural work.

For more than 10 years, Jim and Beckye have been part of our Friday night tradition at the Steaming Tender. Week after week, they’ve walked through our doors, becoming so much more than regulars, they’ve become friends.

It was such a special time in Aruba to share dinner together, this time with our feet in the sand!!!

Moments like these remind us that the relationships built around a dinner table can last a lifetime. We’re so grateful for your friendship, Jim and Beckye. Cheers to many more Friday nights together, whether at the Steaming Tender or somewhere unexpected around the world. ❤️✈️🍽️
