We strive to serve food and drink with distinction as we are a small independent run restaurant. No smoke and mirrors here, just food from the heart. Our space is limited and our staff is small. We believe that we have the ability and resources to make all of our guests happy while dining in our "home" as we see it. It

can get loud in here when we are full but we believe this adds to the excitement we provide, it creates a lively pulse. Yes....there may be a wait sometimes. But, in those rare instances, we feel confident that you'll find our food is worth the wait. We are always happy and sincere here and this shows in the spirit of our restaurant. If you are grumpy, pouty, crabby or just plain mean, this may not be the place for you. We look forward to serving you with all of our hearts and a smile. We take allergies seriously and to avoid the potential of product crossover we may not allow modifications or alterations to any dishes, but we will be happy to guide you towards items that are suitable to your dietary needs. Our beverage program offers an affordable wine list along with signature craft beers, sakes, and a few seasonal house specialty drinks. All selections are carefully chosen to compliment our food. Tai Spendley, making his cooking debut in Palm Springs, crafts a straight-forward,yet progressive menu drawn from his culinary influences: French technique, Asian heritage, and bi-coastal gallivanting.Dishes are portioned to encourage ordering a variety of items for the table to share. Selections may change daily based on availability and the desire to showcase carefully sourced products at their peak. We strive to update our menu online on a daily basis, but what’s seen on our website may be slightly different from what is being offered that day. The Rooster, of course, wants to be in charge, and that suits the hard working, #2 preferring Pig just fine. The practical minded Rooster has
clear and detailed vision, and the Pig gleefully helps carry out the Rooster's plans. The pair form an excellent partnership and enjoy providing a
friendly atmosphere and delicious, globally-inspired cuisine in this independently owned, small restaurant adjacent to the heart of
downtown Palm Springs.

I'm thrilled! I just received The LULA CAFE COOKBOOK, “which beautifully captures 20 years of cooking, love, friendship, and community through its wonderful recipes inspired by specific moments in time”.

Being one of the lucky ones to have experienced the love and culture at Lula Cafe, I feel truly honored. I am grateful to for giving me the opportunity to be a part of . My time at Lula played a significant role in my journey towards opening Rooster and the Pig.

Just a quick heads up that we'll be taking a little break from the action today (Saturday the 19th) and tomorrow (Sunday the 20th).

Why, you ask? Well, it seems like Mother Nature has some wild plans for Southern California, so we'd rather not take any chances. Safety first, right? We'll be back in action and ready to roll on Wednesday, August 23rd. Thanks for understanding and stay safe out there!
