We said we'd just drop our bags and head to the pool. Three records and a card game later, here we are.

Every room comes with organic mattresses, natural bath products, Wi-Fi and a well-stocked minibar, and select rooms add a record player and vinyl. Hard to leave once you're settled in. Book now and test the theory yourself.

A day of Modernism Week, Ace-style: coffee and breakfast at King's Highway, home tours across the valley, an afternoon at the Swim Club or Feel Good Spa, and a cocktail at the Amigo Room once the fire pits take over for the evening.

We're an official Modernism Week lodging partner this year, 20% off when you book direct with code MODERN. Link in bio to book.

Every property's got a backstory. Ours starts with a 1966 Westward Ho motel, complete with a Googie-style Denny's coffee shop. Those bones eventually became Ace Hotel & Swim Club back in 2009, giving it a second life with a mid-century refresh by our friends at Commune.

History's better experienced. Book a room during Palm Springs Modernism Week using code MODERN at checkout for 20% off.

This mural earns its spot on everyone's camera roll, and the story behind it is just as good.

Stevie Shao, our 2026/2027 Artist in Residence, is a Seattle-born and -raised artist and muralist whose work draws inspiration from the relationships we share with animals and our environment. Real and folkloric imagery, a world that's always in motion.

Curated by our friends Known Gallery. Come take it in for yourself.
