It's with a heavy heart that I share the news that Joumana's Mediterranean Cuisine has officially closed its doors to the public. After 10 years in business, we put everything we had into Joumana's. We had the pleasure of sharing our Syrian culture through the countless dishes prepared in our kitchen to every person that came into our special place.
We never advertised our restaurant or even took advantage of social media. However, one by one, people found us. They shared great reviews on yelp and google, which led more people to find us. The old-fashioned way...simply by word of mouth.
Our wonderful community of people supported us throughout the years and traveled far and wide to Joumanas. We sustained through Covid-19 during the most challenging time. Families and patrons kept our doors open by ordering food for pick up. We found ourselves busier than ever, without a whole staff.
On behalf of Joumana and myself, we are humbled and deeply grateful for your love and support through the years. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for taking a chance on us.
I want to acknowledge my beautiful wife, Joumana. She is my rock and support system. She knew the way to my heart was through her cooking which ultimately led to a restaurant with her name in lights. Thank you for being my partner in business and life. I look forward to our next chapter together.
I am thrilled to share the new owners of our space are opening their doors to you with authentic Italian cuisine, called "Trattoria Bella." Please stop in, say "hello," and try their food. You won't be disappointed.
