It’s Sunday, and the sauce is on. ❤️🍝

This time of year takes me right back to Sundays at home in New York. The air was getting crisp, the smell of garlic drifted through the house, and a football game played in the background while my dad cheered on the Giants. My mom and grandma would be making Sunday sauce, and my brother and I would keep sneaking into the kitchen, hoping for a meatball before dinner.

Today, we get to share a little of that feeling with you. Our Sunday Sauce is an every Sunday-only special—a generous Throne portion with Italian sausage, a meatball, and braciole. It comes with your choice of soup, our herbed Italian bread with dipping oil, and a mini cannoli. There’s plenty to share around the table. ❤️

We’re open until 2pm today. Starting next Sunday, October 4, our Sunday hours will be 8am–7pm, and we can’t wait to welcome you for Sunday dinner.

Happy National Bakery Day to all our fellow bakers and bakeries in our community! 🤍🥐

We know how much happens before the doors open: the early mornings, the nights that run late, the flour everywhere, and the love that goes into making something for someone else to enjoy.

Today, we’re sending a little extra love to everyone behind the counters and in the kitchens. Your hands make the treats, but your heart is what makes a bakery feel special.

A special announcement from our family to yours… ❤️

Some of my happiest childhood memories are of Sundays at home.

My brother and I would be playing outside, and then the smell of garlic frying would come drifting through the kitchen window. That meant my mom and my grandma were inside, making Sunday sauce. Before long, we’d wander into the kitchen to see if the meatballs were ready.

We’d sneak one from the pot, dip some bread in the sauce, and hear my mom say, “Stop eating the meatballs or there won’t be any left for dinner!” We never listened very well. Somehow, when everyone finally sat down together, there was always enough.

I miss those Sundays. I miss how the whole house smelled, how everyone ended up around the same table, and how loved you felt just being there.
So, starting next Sunday, October 4th, The Italian Princess will be open for Sunday dinner. Our new Sunday hours will be 8am–7pm. 🍝

And every Sunday (Sunday only!) from 11am–7pm, we’ll be serving our family’s traditional Sunday meat sauce with pork braciole, a meatball, and Italian sausage.

It means the world to us to put this meal on your table. We hope you’ll come spend a Sunday with us. ❤️

🍂 We’re falling in love with all the fall treats around here… 🤎

This time of year always makes us miss New York a little more—the crisp air, the changing leaves, and that unmistakable feeling that something cozy and magical is just around the corner.

So we work hard to bring every flavor, every scent, and every little bit of that feeling into our shop. Pumpkin spice, warm caramel, apples, cinnamon… they’re more than just fall flavors to us. They’re pieces of home and memories we never want to lose.

And somehow, in this little shop of ours, we get to keep those old memories alive while creating beautiful new ones with all of you. 🍁✨

Fun fact: We also might be as big of Harry Potter fans as we are fans of fall (and re-watching all of the movies every fall is one of our favorite things to do) so we may have created our version of Harry’s butter beer in cake form - check out the pics! 🍰 🍂

She spends so much time lovingly handcrafting every wreath, carefully choosing and placing each little detail to make every one truly special. She’ll be bringing a HUGE selection of fall wreaths, along with Halloween and Christmas designs too!

There’s something about fall that makes us want to slow down, get cozy and gather around the table for a comforting meal. 🍂🤎

Growing up in New York, fall meant crisp air, changing leaves and the kind of dinners that made the whole house smell amazing. We may not get quite the same fall weather here in Florida—but trust us, we’re going to create that feeling inside our little shop every chance we get. 😊

Fall has always been our favorite time of year—mine and Brenton’s—so we’re really enjoying bringing some of our favorite cozy fall dishes to the table for Mama Dory’s Dinner Deal each week. 🍂🇮🇹

This week’s lineup has us dreaming of autumn in Italy… golden light spilling across the hills, leaves turning shades of amber and red, little café tables glowing beneath the evening lanterns, and a beautiful plate of pasta waiting to be shared. ❤️

Happy Birthday to our Brenton! 🎉❤️

Of course, he’s spending his birthday right where you’d expect to find him — behind the grill cooking up your breakfast sandwiches and baking his heart away. 😂🥯

As many of you know, this has been a really tough year for him and for our little family, which makes today feel a little extra special. We are just so incredibly grateful to have him here, healthy, smiling, working hard, and getting to celebrate another birthday with all of us. ❤️

So if you see him today, make sure to wish our favorite baker, bagel maker, breakfast-sandwich flipper, and Italian Prince a very Happy Birthday! 👑🇮🇹🎂
