At one point in time there were a total of four Diorio’s Pizza & Sub shops in the valley. The original opened in the early 1990’s, on North Avenue in Grand Junction. Shortly after was this shop, Diorio’s of Palisade. Then came Diorio’s of Fruita and then Diorio’s on Horizon Drive. The Palisade shop was the main hub where the dough was made then distributed to the other shops. Diorio’s on North Avenue are still in operation as the original Diorio’s Pizza & Subs. The same goes for Diorio’s of Palisade. Diorio’s of Fruita turned into The Hot Tomato. Diorio’s on Horizon Drive was the start of Enzo’s.
