Whaaaatttt??? Whyyyyy??? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Soooooo, we bought what used to be Sweet Frogs back in Feb with the understanding that, when we closed on our home (in the super near future at that time, we thought) we would then get a business loan and pay for the business.
So we jumped in head first, used cash from our savings to get started with nothing, and learned as we went along.
Fast forward to NOW, 6 months later, and we STILL have not been able to close on our home. If you’ve been following along with THAT fiasco, then you probably know WHY. (Be very careful who you let build your home - that’s the lesson there) There is no closing day in sight unfortunately, which means we aren’t able to open any new lines of credit, STILL at this point.
Therefore, we have decided that the right thing to do is to sell the business, so that we can pay the original owner what is still owed to him.
We have LOVED getting to serve y’all and see sooooo many smiling faces in the store on a regular basis. Our hope is that someone locally has the desire to keep Simply Sweet open and going with the same high standards and amazing product!!
