Wow - we are so sorry if you missed it. We had NO IDEA that Benito has family in Monterey and he freaking came to HAPPY GIRL! He liked the name - of course - he said he knows lots of happy girls. At first we did not recognize him because he was just casual. But, Luis started to speak with him in Spanish and then I heard his voice and was like “WHAT?”. We were able to tell him THANK YOU for being an anthem of hope in these chaotic times. His Super Bowl half time show was the first time we had felt proud to be an American in a long time. The Americas united in LOVE. He just really gets it. He lives our motto “Compassion in Action” as he makes everyone feel included and cared for. It was really such a dream come true to nourish Bad Bunny himself. We just couldn’t believe it. We were like “did that really just happen”? Sometimes it gets fuzzy - especially on this day of the year - the first day of April - where dreams merge into reality and we get to serve the people we would love to serve the most. Thank you for reading this far into the message and we hope your dreams come true today. It is a very special day of the year.

We are incredibly thankful to Julia Butterfly Hill for joining us as the special guest speaker at our magical Farm to Table fundraiser. What an inspiration! She shared a powerful message of empowerment and change, inviting each of us to reflect on the question, “What is your tree?”🌲

During the evening, this one of a kind painting was created live at the dinner. Paul Richmond and Scout beautifully captured the spirit of hope and transformation that the event celebrated—and Julia herself added a few meaningful strokes to the piece, making it even more special. 🎨

The artwork is now up for auction at Happy Girl and will be available through Tuesday, March 3rd. The silent auction is open both in person and online. Bidding has started at $250 and is currently at $500. To place a bid, email [email protected] and follow along on our Instagram stories for updates.

Another unforgettable gathering at .cv brought us together once again, and my biggest takeaway is this: our community is strong.

You could feel the energy from every corner last Sunday. There was a beautiful moment during dinner — everyone seated at stunning tables, savoring incredible food while soft, smooth music filled the air — when it truly hit me just how strong our community is.

Love was woven into every detail of the evening. If you were there, you know exactly what I mean — authenticity and genuine connection were everywhere you turned.

Real relationships. Real food. Real flowers. Real music. Real soul. Real hugs. Real speeches. Real art. Real love.

We are honored to announce that renowned environmental activist Julia Butterfly Hill will be joining us as a guest speaker at our Farm-to-Table Fundraiser Dinner on February 22 at the Hacienda Feed Store.

Julia is internationally known for her historic 738-day tree sit in an ancient redwood to prevent it from being cut down, inspiring a global movement for forest protection and climate awareness. For decades, she has been a powerful voice for environmental justice, sustainable living, and grassroots activism.
