Good morning y'all! We apologize for our lack of communication for the past few weeks, a lot has transpired and we wanted to wait until everything was complete before sharing.
So here goes! The cafe has been sold. The information we have from the new owners is not definite but more than likely will not be a cafe as you know it. That is something y'all will have to watch for.
We are moving on to New adventures in Ozone. We will be operating a new food establishment in the location of the old Burger Barn. We are still in the process of setting up that location, but project to be open by the end of October.
As excited as we are for this change, it also brings a bit of sadness. It has been a great 12 years here in Catalpa. We have met so many great friends and loyal customers, and though we will still be in the neighborhood, it just won't be the Catalpa cafe. We thank each one of you for your support and hope that you will check out our new place
We will be open October 5th and 6th from 8am-2pm, and October 12th and 13th from 8am-2pm. Sunday October 13th will be our final day cooking in Catalpa. If you get a chance stop by for a bite.
In closing, I truly appreciate y'all. It has been a pleasure to cook for you. I will miss a lot of things about this cafe. It and you will always be a great part of my life. I look forward to this new venture, and hope to visit with y'all soon.
