Filipino food —sweet & savory—An asian cuisine that has been missing in our Oxford, MS town.

Our food is influenced by different cultures including Spanish, Chinese, and many other interesting and different flavors and cooking styles. Manila Skillet started in 2016 as a food truck and pop-up restaurant in the Nashville, TN area. Our mission is to bring our delicious, Authentic Filipino cuisine to Nashville through Food Truck, Events, and Catering. Traditional food from the Philippines is one of the varieties of Asian cuisine that's missing from Nashville's booming food scene. We strive to be the first and best quality Filipino restaurant to arrive in Nashville. With more than 20,000 Filipinos in Middle Tennessee as of 2015, according to the Filipino American Association of Tennessee, it's about time we stepped up and offered this amazing food to the Nashville area!

It’s such an incredible feeling to unexpectedly see one of my customers while I’m the customer!

As we were getting ready to set up our food trailer, we were pleasantly surprised to run into Jessica—the same Jessica who always stops by our booth at the market to grab her favorite coconut macaroons. 🥥💛

Even better, we were at Coombs Gas, where they’re taking care of our propane as we get everything ready for our fire inspection. Thank you, Coombs Gas, for your great service and support!

Moments like these remind me how special this community is. Thank you, Jessica, for supporting Manila Skillet. Seeing familiar faces, even when we’re out and about, truly makes my day. Thank you all for being part of this journey!
