So I know I have been away a lot lately, especially with the move to NJ.

So, I have something exciting to tell you! I have decided to add another piece of equipment to my food cart.

This double burner with a lot of btus will so be added on the side opposite of the grill and triple sink. Then handwashing sink will be relocated to the back of the cart and I will have a frame tongue expansion to hold a larger propane tank and a 2000 watt inverter generator.

OH! BUT THAT IS NOT THE BIG NEWS!!!

I have decided to have two very special hand hammered woks imported from the mainland of China. Two very nice woks that are not cheap, however are durable like a Sherman tank!

I am going to serve only stir fry foods from this point onward. Matter in fact, I am going to rename Tommy's Doggies....

Stir Fry with chicken, pork, veggies, Beef and shrimp! Using only the BEST vegetables, fresh made egg noodles and top quality sauces.

I will even have in the big boil tank, bone broth with Wontons in the steamer for a good soup with your stir Fry!

When I relaunch, Tommy's will go back to a basic menu. Not burgers or steak sandwiches will be on the new menu.

Just hot dogs, sausage and kielbasa with the toppings you have known and loved over the years.

Yep, I am sure you saw the news if you are a friend of the proprietor, Tommy Dawgs. Tommy's Doggies is indeed making it's way back to NJ. Debating where though, however looking at somewhere possibly in Ocean County.

Tommy will be moving back by April and will try to get the ball rolling asap.

Hypothetically, let's say if I was slinging dogs back at the old stomping grounds in New Jersey, I would have the following:

Nathan's 5:1 jumbos
Leidys Kielbasa
Chesapeake Valley hot beef polish sausage

However, as March 8th approaches, it would be 6 years since the brand was coined.

I would like to add another name the menu in our hypothetical anaylsis: but which one?

Schickhaus. A beef/pork natural casing 4:1 footlong perfect grilled with some admiration brown mustard.

Bests provisions. A couple of fine hot dogs fit the bill here. Either the natural casing Don's dog or the Syds dog. Both hot dog recipes have a big history in central new jersey and maybe one could create more history in my cart

Sabrett. Sure you have seen the steamed and dirty water dogs in pushcarts and converted RV's all over the tri state. But did you know that Sabrett also has a decent pork and beef 6:1 natural casing dog that is divine on the grill?

Three potential additions... if there was a shot in the dark chance that Tommy could be back serving hot dog awesomeness once again in NJ, which one would do it for you?

Yes, you know the chili that Tommy makes at the dinner auctions? I’ll promise to have more for you this time! I’ll give you a bit more, atop some yellow rice, cheese, sour cream and even throw in a roll too!

Will have one “FILLED TO THE BRIM” Crock Pot at the ready for this. Perfectly slow cooked and an abundance of fresh flavors.

Old School Individual Chicken Pot Pie $7
This is not a slice that you get elsewhere. This is not Banquet, not Marie Callanders. This is TOMMY’S DOGGIES chicken pot pie, made FRESH. CHUNKS, not tiny minced cubes of chicken, sitting along with peas, carrots and some russet potatoes in a hearty, fresh gravy, secured in a fresh, flaky butter pie crust. Yeah, you know like the awesome Pie Crusts those Griswold #8 apple pies have, but a savory crust instead!

Will have a limited bunch of these on hand, so get there early and ask for one!

2 Badass Tacos and Rice $6
Your choice of soft or hard shell tacos. Beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and cheese served with Yellow Rice. Sour cream, jalapeños and salsa at the ready if you’d like.
