Yesterday after the storms, we saw fire, police, and ambulances going every direction. We saw power company trucks all over the county working to restore power in dangerous situations. We saw neighbors coming together to help each other get trees out of roads and drive ways. We saw our community supporting each other and we just want to say a big thank you to the people that work hard to help each other when times are tough. We have such a great community full of commitment to each other and days like yesterday make us thankful!!!

James Spann said it seems the storms are winding down and that the risk of tornadoes are low for us.

Radar predicts 8:30-9:30 is when it’ll shift from light and moderate to heavy rainfall in calhoun county. So we’re going to close at 7pm tonight as an abundance of caution and we will update if anything changes.

Stay safe tonight and order before 6:45 to get your storm meals in before we close!
