With heavy but grateful hearts, Sandlot Sports Zone and Sandlot Cold Zone will be stopping all operations effective June 29, 2026.
For the past three years, it has been an incredible honor to be part of this community. What started as a place for athletes to train became so much more than that. We were blessed to work with so many kids, families, coaches, teams, and organizations who believed in what the Sandlot could be. Watching young athletes grow in confidence, skill, toughness, and character has meant more to us than we can ever fully put into words.
Saxton and I are truly humbled by the concern, encouragement, and outpouring of support we have received over the last week as it became clear that we would no longer be able to continue operations at 219 S. Washington. The love shown to our family and to the Sandlot has been overwhelming, and we are deeply thankful for every message, every visit, every kind word, and every person who has stood with us.
We are not ready to speculate on what comes next. There are still many things that have to be worked through before any decisions can be made. Please know that all options are being explored as we consider our next move.
When there is an update to share, we will use Facebook to let everyone know what the next plan will be.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for accepting us, supporting us, and allowing Sandlot Sports Zone and Sandlot Cold Zone to be part of your lives over these last three years. We are proud of what this place became because of the people who walked through the doors.
