New on the menu this weekend, starting today. Arayes is one of Lebanon's favorite street foods, and we are excited to finally bring it to the truck. Pita bread is stuffed with our seasoned kefta beef, pressed on the grill until the outside is crisp and golden, and the juices from the meat soak into the bread as it cooks.

It comes out crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served with our house garlic sauce for dipping. Simple, bold, and made to be eaten hot off the grill at just $9.99.

Find us tonight at Street Eats, 1761 W Parrish Ave next to Dollar Tree, from 4 to 9 pm, and all weekend after that. Come try it while it lasts.

Weather has changed our plans for tonight. We will not be setting up at Smothers Park downtown Owensboro today. Instead you can find us at Street Eats & Treats of Western Ky, 1761 W Parrish Ave next to Dollar Tree, from 4 to 9 pm. Same menu, same crew, just a new spot for the evening. Reminder that I will be at the Owensboro Farmers Market today from 4 to 5 PM for Taste of the Market, cooking live and sharing a taste of what Mezze Street Kitchen is all about. Come by, say hello, and grab a sample while it lasts.

One quick note, the truck will not be set up to serve afterwards this time. We are heading straight back to restock and prep for a busy rest of the weekend, and we want to make sure we bring you our best. Thank you for understanding, and we will see you at the market at 4.

The Classics are back at Mezze Street Kitchen. Our Classic Chicken Shawarma, Classic Beef Shawarma, and Classic Falafel wraps are built the way they have been made for generations in Lebanon and across the Middle East.

The sauce goes inside, the wrap gets rolled tight, and then it is pressed on the griddle until the bread turns golden and crisp. That is how shawarma is meant to be eaten, hot off the press and in your hands, with every bite giving you that crunch before you hit the marinated meat, the pickles, and the house garlic sauce.

If you want it piled high with sauce on top, our Loaded wraps are still here for you. But if you want it the way the streets of Beirut have served it forever, order it Classic.
