Story time: It’s been a WEEK, y’all. 🥲

Monday, I had to visit an allergy specialist because harvest has been absolutely wrecking my body. Tuesday, we started the all-week process of getting a concrete slab poured for our back porch. Wednesday, Hank had tumors removed from his mouth, and we didn’t get the results we were hoping for. 💔

And the royal icing on the cookie (see what I did there? 😂🍪) is that I completely misread an order and thought I was making cookies for a 2-year-old’s birthday instead of a FIRST birthday! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Sometimes being a one-woman show means things slip through the cracks, and this week has definitely tested me. Thankfully, Sydney Schutte was so kind and compassionate and let me correct my mistake (even though the 1 cookies are not shown above). 🥹🤍

Riley, I hope you have the best FIRST birthday and you enjoy your Elmo cookies! 💫🎈

Being a one-woman show means I have to know my limits, and as much as I LOVE baking for y’all, I also want to make sure I have time to slow down and enjoy the holidays with my family and friends. Thank you for keeping my little dream so busy and for understanding! 🤍

This order was every pediatric speech-language pathologist & part-time home baker’s DREAM theme (aka ME😆)!! 🧸📖🐱🍐🍉🐝🍎

When Olivia Helms reached out asking me to create a children’s book-themed cake and cupcakes for Jack’s 2nd birthday, I knew I couldn’t say no! 🥹 These sweet treats were inspired by some of the classics: The Cat in the Hat, Winnie the Pooh, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? 🎩🍯🐛🐻📚
