Happy Sunday! Oktoberfest might be over, but the fun continues with another packed week ahead at MSB! Here’s what’s going on:

Monday 9/21 & Tuesday 9/22 - open normal hours 4-9!

Wednesday 9/23 - Wag’s Wednesday is back! This week’s Wagners Lunch - Pool Hall special is the PB & Jealous: double cheese topped with peanut butter & jalapeños 🍔🥜🔥 Trivia Mafia starts at 6!

Thursday 9/24 - Join us for a special release of the Chubb’s Cream Ale! This refreshing b**r was brewed by the Owatonna Homebrewers Association in memoriam of Chubb aka Juan Villareal for Chubb's Brew-BQ earlier this month. From 5-7, members of the homebrewers group will be behind serving up Chubb’s Cream Ale, and when you order a pint, you’ll receive a free commemorative Chubb’s Brew-BQ taster full of this year’s favorite infusion, which was the Vanilla Candullo’s Coffee infused Chubb’s Cream Ale 😋☕️ Order a pizza from A Taste of the Big Apple with us to enjoy with your b**rs 🍕🍺

Friday 9/25 - ‼️NEW FOOD TRUCK ALERT‼️ Cheeky Chicks food truck joins us from 4-8 serving up their tasty Cheeky Orange Chicken, nutritious bowls, and some of their famous “Yo Mama’s Daughter’s Chicken Wings” 🍗🔥

Saturday 9/26 - Wh***ey Creek BBQ & Original Hockey Mom Brownies are back at MSB from 12-8 🔥🍫 Shasta Kings take the stage from 6:30-8:30 🎶

Sunday 9/27 - MSBGO starts at 3! Always free and family-friendly!

We are Painting the Town Green in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota 💚 MSB has been proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern MN over the years, and we’ve seen the direct impact of mentorship on our local youth! The positive relationships between Bigs and Littles have a direct, lasting effect on the lives of young people throughout Southern MN, and we are happy to support and highlight this organization that makes such a meaningful impact on our community!

Eeek - it is Oktoberfest week 🍻🍻🍻 We can’t wait to see you at our annual celebration this weekend, but we’re getting started early and putting our three Oktoberfest b**rs on tap starting Monday! Here’s what else is going on this week:

Monday 9/14 - open normal hours 4-9 - grab a pint of our L’Auger Wagon, Hilstad Hefeweizen, or Meriden Marzen to get in the Oktoberfest mood early!

Tuesday 9/15 - we will be closed to the public for a private event. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Wednesday 9/16 - NEW FOOD TRUCK ALERT! We’re excited to welcome Tacos La Reyna to MSB from 4-8 🌮🌯 (no Wag’s Wednesday this week) Trivia Mafia starts at 6, so grab some friends and test your knowledge to win free b**r 🍺 Also Mayor Matt Jessop will be joining us for the first ever Beard & Brews at 6:30 - stop by and chat with the Mayor about a variety of topics every third Wednesday of the month 🍻

Thursday 9/17 - On The Hook Fish and Chips Food Truck is sailing back to MSB from 11-7 🎣 We’ll be open early at 11am alongside the truck! We’re excited for this month’s Name That Tune - 2010s vs 2020s, which starts at 6pm 🎶

Friday 9/18 - Oktoberfest is here!! Our limited 2026 steins will be on sale starting at noon! $30 full of one of our Oktoberfest b**rs 🍺 Spare Time Entertainment_Owatonna will be selling Brats from 3-8 🌭 Nozy's Grill is slinging burgers 4-8 🍔 and we’ll have sweet or salty soft Bavarian pretzels for sale all night 🥨 The ipolka Band will be performing from 5:30-9:30, and we’ll have the following events going on as well:

6pm - Schnitzelbank 🪗
7pm - Best Costume 🏆
8pm - Stein Holding 🍺
9pm - Yodeling 🎶

Saturday 9/19 - PROST! We’re keeping the Oktoberfest party going 🇩🇪 Twisted Chicken will join us from 12-8 🍗, SpareTime Brats will be available 12-8 🌭, Pretzels available again all day 🥨, with the same event schedule as Friday night 🍻

Sunday 9/20 - Happy Kidtoberfest! We’re excited for our second annual family focused day of Oktoberfest partnering with United Way of Steele County! There will be a bounce house, face painting, non-alcoholic slushies & sodas for the kids, plenty of German b**r for the adults, plus the following activities:

12pm - Gingerbread Heart Decorating 🖤❤️💛
1pm - Pie Eating Contest 🥧
2pm - Yodeling Contest 🎶
3pm - Kid’s Parade (Props provided by United Way) 🎉
3pm - MSBGO per our usual weekly schedule🏆

Wednesday 9/9 - happy Wag’s Wednesday! This week’s special is the Mushroom & Swiss burger 🍔🍄‍🟫🧀 Trivia starts at 6!

Thursday 9/10 - Initials Game Live is back starting at 6! Get a group together to see if you can beat the other teams to figure out the person, place or thing for a pair of initials each round! ❔🏆 Order a Taste of the Big Apple pizza hot and fresh to enjoy with your MSB brews 🍕🍻

Friday 9/11 - Nozy's Grill is back with their delicious smashburgers and massive pork tenderloin sandwiches from 4-8 🍔

Our 2026 Oktoberfest celebration is less than 2 weeks away on September 18th and 19th with United Way of Steele County Kidtoberfest on the 20th 🍻

This year we are excited to offer hot Pretzels (Sweet or Salty) all day right in our taproom 🥨

Plus, this year’s Oktoberfest tees are in right now - choose your favorite from a handful of different colors for $20!

And the parking update you’ve been asking for - we have plenty of parking available right now following the recent construction for Phase 2 of the ASCEND Development, so don’t stress about where you’re going to park for Oktoberfest 🚗🚧

Our three Oktoberfest b**rs (L’Auger Wagon, Hilstad Hefeweizen, and Meriden Marzen) will be tapped early ahead of the weekend celebration starting on Monday, 9/14 - so stop in early to get the party started 🍺 2026 Oktoberfest steins will be available for purchase starting at noon on 9/18!

If you can’t tell, we are just a little excited to celebrate, so we‘ve decided we’ll be tapping our three Oktoberfest b**rs EARLY on Monday, 9/14 - start the week off with a pint of our L’Auger Wagon, Meriden Marzen, and Hilstad Hefeweizen before you can purchase this year’s steins ($30 full, on sale starting Friday 9/18 at noon) 🍻
