A few weeks back Rod and local brewer, Terrence Flynn, got to work brewing this year’s batch of our Pathways Pilsner - each year we collaborate to create this special brew to benefit Community Pathways, one of our favorite, awesome organizations in our community.

The Pathways Pilsner will be on tap tomorrow at Pathways PalooZa, which is Community Pathways’ huge summer fundraiser party at the Steele County Fairgrounds Beer Garden with live music, tasty eats from some great local spots, games, awesome silent auction prizes, and lots of cold Pathways Pilsner on tap to sip on!

It’s always fun to raise a glass while raising funds for an awesome organization 🍻

This week’s forecast has us feeling a little blue. But what we are NOT feeling blue about is MSB’s current “Month of Blue to Make Wishes Come True” fundraiser! A portion of the proceeds from each purchase of our Non-alcoholic Blue Raspberry slushy will go to Make-A-Wish Minnesota continuing throughout the rest of the month! You can also purchase a Make a Wish star to hang up in the brewery through a custom donation 🌟

Additionally, save the date for the second annual Blues and Brews event happening in a couple weeks on July 26th from 12pm-6pm - this will include a Tap Takeover by Make-A-Wish families & volunteers, raffles & silent auction items, live blues music from the Barefoot Winos, plus tasty food and more. We hope to see you there, and in the meantime, we hope you’ll raise a glass of our NA Blue Raspberry S**o Slushy in the taproom!

Happy Monday! It was (and still is for some of us) a fun holiday weekend 🎇🇺🇸🍻 But we’re ready for another summer weak ahead, and here’s what’s going on:

Wednesday 7/8 - Happy Wag’s Wednesday 🍔 this week’s Wagners Lunch - Pool Hall special is the PB & Jealous: double cheese topped with peanut butter and house made peppered jelly 😋 Join us for trivia mafia starting at 6!

Thursday 7/9 - The Initials Game Live is back at 6! Get a team together and see who can answer these general knowledge questions about any person, place, or thing based on a set of initials! Enjoy A Taste of the Big Apple pizza while you play 🍕🍺

Friday 7/10 - Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm is bringing their mobile unit back to MSB from 4-9! Get one of their delicious wood-fired pizzas while you kick off the weekend 🍕

Saturday 7/11 - Smash N Dash MN is back with tasty smashies and loaded tots from 12-8 🍔 Bruce Bernhart will hit the stage with classic tunes from 6-8 🎶

Sunday 7/12 - MSBGO starts at 3! Remember, it’s always free to play, family-friendly, and we give away tons of prizes!

Our fourth annual 0.5K (yes, you read that correctly, 0.5K) with Young Professionals of Owatonna is quickly approaching! Join us this Saturday (6/20) at 11am for Owatonna’s shortest race, with proceeds ($30 registration fee) benefitting Special Olympics Owatonna this year 🏃‍♂️🍻

This fun run/walk is open to all ages and skill types! We will be opening up early on Saturday at 9am with Bloody Mary beers and Mimosa seltzers for sale, plus OTB Cafe - Old Town Bagels will also be joining us with their delicious bagels to carb load up before the race! Arrive early to get your pre-race drinks and fuel and check in with our friends at Y-Pro!

For the last three years, MSB has partnered with Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Owatonna for an awesome fundraising event 🇺🇸🍺 This year’s event will look a little different - all Steele County Veterans and In-Service Personnel are invited to enjoy a free Whiskey Creek BBQ pulled pork sandwich meal and MSB beverage as a thank you for their service! Like each year, we will have the Company G Lager (named after the 1st Minnesota infantry of volunteers out of Steele & Rice county in the Civil War) on tap! There will be door prizes plus live music from JT of JT & The Gunslingers 🎶 We hope you’ll join us in celebrating from 12-5pm on June 14th!

Saturday 6/13 - Nozy's Grill is back with their delicious smashburgers and pork tenderloin sandwiches from 12-8 🍔 STEVE & STEVE CO bring the rock & roll to MSB from 6-9 🎸

Sunday 6/14 - We will be open late until 8! Join us for a celebration for Steele County Veterans and In-Service Personnel with Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Owatonna from 12- 🇺🇸 Whiskey Creek BBQ will be with us from 12-6 - veterans and in-service personnel will receive a complimentary BBQ sandwich and MSB beverage of choice with proof of service or valid driver’s license indicating veteran status. There will be door prizes plus live music from JT of JT & The Gunslingers from 12-3 🎶
