A member of our Owatonna pool family is in need of some thoughts and prayers! Aaron was a part of our youth pool leagues growing up and has been involved in adult leagues in the Owatonna Community. As stated in the link below
“Our dear friend Aaron is currently fighting for his life, and we are asking our family, friends, and community to come together to support him and his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Aaron was taken to the hospital in Faribault after arriving with an oxygen saturation of only 44%. He was blue and struggling to breathe. The medical team immediately placed him on a CPAP machine and began running tests, including an ultrasound of his heart and blood work. About an hour later, Aaron’s condition became even more serious. He began looking worse and complained of severe chest pain. Doctors determined that Aaron needed to be sedated and placed on a ventilator, and he was transferred to Abbott Northwestern Hospital for a higher level of care, where he remains in the ICU.
Once at Abbott Northwestern, doctors discovered that Aaron had dangerously high levels of carbon dioxide in his blood. His condition was critical, and the medical team made the decision to place him on ECMO, a life-support system that helps oxygenate and clean the blood while giving his body time to recover. Right now, Aaron’s doctors are continuing to run tests and monitor him closely as they work to determine what caused this sudden and devastating illness and what needs to be done next. This has been an overwhelming and frightening time for Aaron’s family. While their focus needs to be on Aaron and his recovery, expenses continue to pile up, including travel, food, lodging, medical-related expenses, household bills, and time away from work.
We are asking for any help you are able to give. Every donation, no matter the amount, can help ease the financial burden and allow Aaron’s loved ones to focus on what matters most: being by his side and supporting him through this fight. If you aren’t able to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Aaron in your thoughts and prayers. Every share helps us reach more people and means more than you know. Aaron has a long road ahead, but we are not giving up. Please help us rally around Aaron and his family as he fights to come home. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, prayed, donated, shared, or simply kept Aaron and his family in your thoughts. Your love and support mean everything right now.”
