First and foremost… we’re extremely grateful for every single person that chooses us.
To the real New Yorkers and Jersey people that walk in and instantly recognize what this is… thank you. The ones who really lived it. The ones who grew up in neighborhood pizzerias, loud kitchens, corner slices, paper plates, freestyle music playing, guys yelling across the counter, controlled chaos, what’s understood doesn’t have to be explained. You guys come in and immediately know we’re from the same place that made us.
And to the people not from the city, from upstate, the outskirts, Florida, or people who just simply appreciate what we do, you are appreciated just as much. Your love and support means everything to us too.
At this point, a lot of you aren’t even customers anymore. Yall are family. You know us. You know our kids. You know our father. You’ve watched us build this thing from the ground up. Some of yall have been rocking with us since day one and we’ll never take that for granted.
Now with that being said, we also LOVE the haters. Seriously. Because if you don’t have haters, you’re probably not doing anything worth talking about.
When you become one of the top spots around, there are always going to be miserable people who hate you simply because of the love and support you get from everyone else. That’s just reality.
Do I think every single person who walks through our doors has had a perfect experience every single time? Of course not. We’re human. When it’s balls to the wall busy every day, mistakes happen. A pizza might sit too long. One might get overcooked. Service might not be perfect during a crazy rush. It happens.
But some people will form an entire opinion off a 5 minute interaction and one bad experience instead of giving us the opportunity to make it right.
Instead of running to leave a hate review, why not hit us up and say
“Hey man, my friend recommended you guys and we were excited to try it, but the pizza seemed cold, burnt, or whatever the issue was.”
Give us the chance to fix it. Because one mistake is NOT an accurate reflection of the product we put out on a regular, consistent basis every day.
There’s a reason we were voted Best Pizza in Orlando. There’s a reason we opened a second location in less than a year. There’s a reason almost 3 years later we’re already looking for Dough Boyz 3. There’s a reason we’ve built such a huge following and blown up across Central Florida.
Everything isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. But everyone should try being a decent human being. Miserable people do miserable things. Happy people support, communicate, and uplift.
Either way, we’re gonna keep working, keep growing, and keep making great pizza.
We’re here to stay and will be around for the next 40 years at least.
Everyone have a blessed week ❤️🍕
Dough Boyz 3 coming soon!!!!
