My name is Julio, and I’m still waiting for my person.
I’m a super handsome 3–4 year old Red Nose/Staffy mix, about 60 lbs and fully grown.

One of the best things about adopting an adult dog like me is that what you see is who I already am. I’m past the puppy chaos, my personality is established, and I’m ready to settle into a home and simply belong. Adult dogs make incredible companions, they are calmer, more focused, and endlessly grateful for a second chance.

I’m crate trained, sweet, and adjusting well in my new environment, with only a few accidents as I continue learning.
I do well with dogs my size, though I haven’t been tested with small dogs yet. I’m good with older kids but haven’t been tested with toddlers or infants, and I haven’t been cat tested.

I’m still new to the rescue, so we’re learning more about this handsome boy every day but what’s already clear is that I have a gentle heart and a lot of love to give.
I am heartworm positive, but my treatment is fully covered in my adoption fee at one of our partnered veterinarian offices in Altamonte Springs.

Heartworms are non contagious to humans or other animals and are 100% preventable. This is temporary and treatable, and it shouldn’t stop me from finding my forever home.

Julio is also available for foster while he waits for his forever family. If you’re able to open your home, even temporarily, please email [email protected] for a foster form and mention Julio by name.

Personal pets are not permitted inside the mall.
Only service animals are allowed in accordance with applicable regulations.

Once a pet has been adopted, the adopter must exit the mall with their new pet.

Paul Mitchell will be on your left as you enter the Mall. The store is located a bit further down on the left-hand side.
