We started off the 2026-2027 school for the new teachers with a breakfast here at the museum. Our cook, Linda Shaw did a fabulous job with the food and it looked beautiful! They enjoyed breakfast, toured the museum and then went for a school bus ride through the district to show them around. We wish them a wonderful school year!!

Parents & Students: Pictured is the updated student menu ticket for the London Museum. We did have to go up on some menu items, because as you know, the cost of groceries has gone up. We tried to keep prices reasonable for the students. From now on, TO-GO containers will only be provided upon request after dining.

If you have an incoming Freshman, the kids write up their own tickets. They need to put their name at the top, so we know whose name to call. Then, they will circle the item and price of what they are ordering, using a red pen. They then bring their ticket to me at the register and I will ring them up. I will give them a token for their drink, ice cream or milkshake that they are ordering and they take that to the soda fountain. The token proves that they have paid for their drinks. They will take their ticket to the left side of the fountain and hand it to one of our volunteers, who will call their name when their food is ready. The kids bus their own tables when done.

We were lucky to have these folks from the London Class of 1954. Pictured are Delight Harvard, Patsy Lefors Dawson, and Wayne Holland. They spent the morning at the museum eating lunch and reminiscing about old times. Mr. Holland had a truckload of watermelons with him, so before he left, almost everyone got a watermelon!! Delicious!! We are so glad they came to see us!

Joe Kelly Delafield & his wife came to visit us last week.
Joe graduated in the West Rusk Class of 1983 & attended from
1973 - 1983.

His parents (pictured below) were teachers at West Rusk when he was a student. Joe Bryan Delafield taught Sixth Grade & Doris “Tina” Delafield taught Special Education. Both parents are now deceased.
Joe has worked the past five years as a machinist for NIBCO in Nacogdoches, Texas. He and his wife Shem have been married for 37 years & both live in Mount Enterprise.
