Made a pile of BBQ for the family this past weekend for our annual Sorghum Cookoff Family Reunion (50+ year tradition) but only grabbed a few pics as it was pretty busy!

Nothing but rave reviews for the Booth Creek Wagyu Smoked Meatloaf que'd on our Pit Boss Grills smoker and many "best ribs ever " for the Prairie Fresh and Smithfield pork spare ribs smoked on our Gateway Drum Smokers with a Hunsaker Smokers hanging kit making easy work of 11 racks!

Not pictured Sanderson Farms Chicken was also a hit as well as the ALDI USA brats!, both of which got kissed by each smoker for the perfect!

Everything got some SDQ Pitmasters Blend sprinkles with ribs also topped with SDQ Sweet Garlic and some Blues Hog Bold n Beefy barking up nicely on the meatloaves, flavortown central!

Got the party fridge full for this weekend's family reunion with Prairie Fresh Pork and Smithfield Brand spare ribs, Booth Creek Wagyu brisket trimmings (smoked meatloaf), some brats from ALDI USA and Sanderson Farms Chicken legs and thighs (also at Aldi!).

Had a weekend at the Made for KC BBQ contest! Tho we missed our goal of winning the contest - congrats 👉 Smokey Bey's Barbecue for that great performance - we did have a bit of luck on our side with 2x 11th place finishes in pork and brisket which were tagged with "wild child" placements and captured a healthy stack of cash! Thanks Weekend Bum BBQ for organizing the children and congrats on RGC - great cookin!
