What an experience at Sporting Kansas City yesterday serving as The Kansas City Barbeque Society and Westlake Ace Hardware Pitmaster of the Game!

Over 400 SDQ Smoked Meatballs, 25 pounds of SDQ Snack Mix and uncountable ropes of Smoke Sausage were sampled to a non-stop stream of friendly soccer fans!

Local BBQ flavors from the Veterans Community Project (KC Smoke Sauce), Meat Mitch (Stay Hot and Miso Naughty sauces + Whomp Rub), Three Little Pigs - Championship BBQ Rubs and Sauces (KC All-Purpose and Texas Beef rubs), and Blues Hog (Champions Blend sauce) kicked all the taste buds into the net!

Huge thanks to an incredible team effort from Emilee Hirsch, Kevin Sloan, Brian Howard, and Kevin Howard, while leaning on their skills and hard work, SDQ was able to score a success by all measures!

Additional thanks to Yoder Smokers and Pit Boss Grills for layering the heat and smoke flavors on our tasty snacks!

Mother's are luckiest when they Pork-N-Go BBQ gourmet style! 😍

Mother’s Day dinner was definitely one for the books ❤️🔥

Tonight’s lineup featured juicy ribeye steaks seasoned with Heath Riles BBQ Beef Rub and Summa Dat Que Hot Rub bringing the perfect balance of bold flavor and heat.

On the side, we had fresh asparagus sautéed in butter and garlic then finished off with Summa Dat Que Sweet Garlic seasoning — simple but absolutely packed with flavor. And of course, the doctored-up Idahoan potatoes stole the show too. Made with butter, heavy cream instead of milk, a dollop of Daisy sour cream, then seasoned with salt and Summa Dat Que Sweet Garlic for that rich, creamy, perfect bite. 🤌🥔

Nothing fancy — just good food, full hearts, and a Mother’s Day dinner made with love. ❤️
