Using hickory wood to slow smoke our meats until they're juicy, tender, and infused with irresistible flavor, Smokeys is authentic Kansas City style BBQ at its best.. I wish to thank my many friends who sent messages of kindness about the closing down of Smokeys, my beloved BBQ restaurant. Smokeys has served the community of West Kansas City for 9 years and under my stewardship for the last 4. We smoked some good KC Q and made a lot of friends. Let's keep fighting the good fight, friends. We've still got a world which needs our help.
