We are booking new concerts at The Refuge in January and February
looking for a few good bands, solo acts, artists to fill the big stage
and our coffee shop acoustic concert series we are starting.
Open dates are as follows,
Saturday - January 5th - Open Show
Saturday - January 19th, 2013 - Eclectic Mix of Bands - Sons of September on the Bill
Saturday - January 26th, 2013 - World Didn't End Concert - Artists from our Dec. 21st End of World Concert - few new guests
Saturday - February 2nd, 2013 - 1/2 day event - Acoustic Singer/Songwriter Showcase - New artist and open mic on our coffee house small stage - starts at 4 - Solo Acts - Small Acoustic Groups on Concert Stage from 6 - 10
We will also be looking for new concert ideas through February, March and April, give us an idea, we will put it together - perhaps a day long event? country, dubstep, local dj's
We are working hard on finding new avenues of promotion to bring in crowds, and expect all artists to do the same - through social media, spreading the word at your schools, organizations and friend network. We will help provide templates for flyers, handouts and brochures that you can use to spread the word and build your fan base.
The Refuge is working closely with some of our bigger local music stores to promote events - and will give you an opportunity to get exposure through these channels as well.
Finally, if you know of anybody that you think has talent and should use it, spread the word!!!!! We are going to be utilizing our coffee shop stage more extensively before concerts for solo performers and acts just getting started to get their feet wet and have karaoke backing tracks ready for anyone just wanting to sing a tune or two. All ages, all talent levels
Contact us through FB or [email protected] to book yourself or band - or forward it to someone you know with some talent that is ready to shine.
Thanks
