It is bittersweet to share the special this week at Norcini at Strang Hall. We say goodbye to my right hand man, Matthew Brooks with the Brooks Was Here. This pie may seem simple but just like the man, the flavors are bold and beautiful. We wish him only the best as he moves on to only better things. Though he may be leaving physically, his spirit he brought we linger for a long time to come! What a long, strange trip it’s been! Come out to Strang Hall this weekend to wish him a fond farewell!

This week at Norcini at Strang Hall we are offering two new specials to ring in the new year! Matthew Brooks has created The Mayberry, a fried German bologna pizza that is perfect comfort food for the soul. He also created our Chicken of the Woods, a wonderful bowl of rich and hearty flavors. We will also be serving up our Tomato Basil Bisque throughout the winter months and into the early spring. Come out to Strang Hall this weekend to celebrate the year’s end. I am super excited to announce that Norcini at Strang Hall and The Meat Shed finally have the professional partnership that we have long anticipated! Yesterday I was blessed to be graced with the delivery of pepperoni and finocchiona by the wonderful Matt DeMoss and Joe Wantschik. Thanks to these two for allowing me to utilize their wonderful products! I am quite honored! Now our Meat Shed can truly live up to its name. We will be bringing in a wider variety of their products in the near future.
