Yes, we’re a PLAY cafe… but don’t forget about the CAFE part. ☕️🥪

One of the things that truly sets Inspired Play Cafe apart from other play cafes is that we have a full food + drink menu made right here in-house.

This isn’t just a place to grab a packaged snack while your kids play. Come hungry and make a whole morning or afternoon out of it.

2021 → 2026. 🥹

Same little boy. Same building. A completely different life.

When I opened Inspired Play Cafe in 2021, I was a single mom with a little boy, a dream that felt way bigger than me, and no idea what the next five years would hold. I had put everything I had into this place and was simply trusting that God gave me the vision for a reason.

Now that same little boy is standing outside his mama’s business almost five years later. 🤍

He’s watched me build something from the ground up. He’s watched our family grow, and he’s watched this little cafe become a place where thousands of children have played, learned, celebrated, and grown.

It hasn’t been easy. There have been risks, mistakes, tears, long nights, and plenty of moments when quitting would have been easier. Man, I really wanted to quit.

But God kept making a way. The community kept showing up. I kept walking.

This November, Inspired Play Cafe turns FIVE. 🥹

2021 me would be in disbelief.

2026 me is just incredibly grateful.

Five years of faith. Five years of growth. Five years of watching God turn a little dream into something so much bigger. Five years of community. Five years of hundreds of thousands of people walking in and out.🌿

There’s something extra special about watching my own children play in the space I once dreamed about before it even existed.

Inspired Play Cafe was created around one simple belief: play is a child’s work.

No screens. No pressure to perform. Just space to explore, imagine, problem solve, create and learn at their own pace.

And now I get to sit on the floor and watch my own babies experience the same kind of intentional play I hoped to give other families five years ago.

Sometimes the simplest moments are the ones that remind me exactly why I built this place. 🌿

Food exploration, but make it PLAY. 🍎🥨

Our kiddos got to explore, build, create (and of course taste-test!) during our food exploration class using apples, pretzels + marshmallows.

Activities like this make trying and interacting with foods feel fun and low-pressure, while giving little hands plenty of opportunities to create and explore.

Before the play. Before the coffee. Before the parties, classes, and thousands of little feet running through these doors… there was this.

Just a vision, a whole lot of construction, and faith that someday it would become what I could already see in my head— a vision only I saw, but had to convince a room full of men to believe to get the money to make it happen.

This is where we came from.
This is who we’ve always been.
