Congratulations Myra!

🌟 Introducing Our 2026 Othello Fair & Rodeo Grand Marshal—Myra Walters! 🌟

For more than 30 years, Myra has quietly and wholeheartedly served the Othello community. Her dedication can be seen throughout nearly every corner of our town—from the Othello Fair, Livestock Auction and Rodeo to Adams County Pet Rescue, the Senior Center, Othello Presbyterian Church, our schools, youth programs and countless community events.

Myra began volunteering in the livestock office at the Othello Fair, helping ensure auction paperwork was accurate and the day ran smoothly. As a longtime member of the Othello Rodeo Association, she continues to step in wherever she is needed—working in the ticket office, helping with setup and cleanup, picking up mail and serving as the organization’s Sunshine Coordinator.

But Myra’s impact reaches far beyond the Fair and Rodeo. She supports local businesses, encourages new volunteers, cares for homeless and abandoned animals and consistently offers her time, kindness and compassion without ever seeking recognition.
