It was an honor to meet and connect with Cole Bennett, founder of Lyrical Lemonade.

Knowing that he was born and raised not too far from our restaurant made the conversation even more special. It’s always inspiring to meet someone who built something incredible while staying connected to their roots.

I had the opportunity to send a Brisket Grilled Cheese his way on Saturday, and I hope he enjoyed it! Moments like these remind me how small the world can be and how important it is to keep chasing your dreams.

Big respect to Cole for everything he’s built and for continuing to put Chicago on the map.

🚨 CHICAGO, WE’RE COMING HOME! 🚨

It is with great excitement that we announce that Hell’s BBQ will be competing at the biggest festival we’ve attended to date — the 26th Annual Ribfest Chicago, June 5th–7th!

Three days of incredible food, live bands, music, games for the kids, shopping, and some of the best BBQ pitmasters around all battling for BBQ bragging rights.

This year, we’re bringing our competition ribs to the city where my passion for cooking and BBQ first began. Growing up in Chicago and knowing the rich BBQ culture this city has, I feel it’s my responsibility to bring that championship crown back home.

Our mission? To dethrone the reigning champion, Mr. Green’s BBQ from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and show everyone what Chicago BBQ is all about.

This competition means a lot to me personally. To come back to the city where I grew up and compete against some of the best in the business is truly an honor.

Chicago, I need you to stand up and come support your boy as Hell’s BBQ brings the heat all weekend long! 🔥🔥🔥

Come hungry, bring the family, enjoy the festival, and help us bring that title back where it belongs.
