Hello,
After 3 years of baking Rustic Kitchen has decided to close. It is a very strange feeling, right now it is mostly sadness, but there is also some nervousness and excitement as I move on.
I really wish we would have been able to sell the business so that it could have continued on, but it doesn't seem like it was meant to be.
I have received some interest in some of our recipes, and if it goes anywhere I will let everyone know where you can find these products.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, and to the great staff that helped us over the years.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, and has had some time to relax with friends and relatives.
We are excited to announce that we are now in Whole Foods Madison. They have received their first order this morning, so stop on in and check us out. We will be doing a sampling there soon, perhaps as early as this Saturday.
If all goes well we will be looking to add Whole Foods Milwaukee in the coming year.
Happy New Year, and thank you for all the support you have shown in 2013.

Don't forget Rustic Kitchen will have fresh Gluten Free Breads and Cinnamon Rolls at all Outpost stores starting tomorrow. And we will be sampling at the Capitol and Bayview stores Friday, and State St. on Saturday!

***Update***Outpost Start Date****
We have moved our start date with Outpost back to Friday September 6th. The idea is that we will be in the store promoting it with samples and giving it a proper kick off. I will post the times as we get a little closer but please plan on coming to say hello and trying some of our gluten free baked goods!
We will likely be in the Capitol and Bay View stores Friday and Wauwatosa on Saturday.

We are looking at possibly (stress possibly) changing the size of our bread loaves. The goal would be to keep the height and width as much as possible while creating shorter loaves. This would allow us to sell slightly smaller loaves of bread at a lower retail price. Let me know what you think, I will take a "like" as vote for the idea. If you don't like it please leave a comment. This is something that would take months to implement and is only something we are looking into.

Whole Foods Madison:
We have been told that Whole Foods in Madison will be bringing us in! I just finished sending in the last of the paper work so we are waiting to hear back from them. With the size of their organization the process takes a little longer so it could be a few more weeks before their first order. I will keep you posted.

Festival Appleton (Darboy Store):
Our first order will be arriving around noon today! They have brought in the Country Sandwich, Country Herb, Sandwich Buns, Cinnamon Buns, and Chocolate Zucchini Cupcakes.
They went very light on the last three items so if you are interested you may want to get there early.
If you were one of the people asking for product in Appleton please support their store so they continue to carry our products. As always thank you so much for all of your help!
