Tonight will be our first evening kicking off our annual “Holy” Halloween at Do Good! Join us each night this weekend for evenings full of family fun and holy encounters:

(Today) Thursday, October 15 from 6:00-8:00 pm
Friday, October 16 from 6:00-8:00 pm
Saturday, October 17 from 2:00-4:00 pm

This event is used to help teach children, family, and friends of all ages the Christian meaning of Halloween. Come “trick-or-treat” with St. Michael the Archangel, St. Henry, and many other holy people. Children will be given a trick-or-treat bag as they hear the story of each holy person and receive a candy treat, prayer card, or another Christian gift. Costumes are welcome (please no devils, witches, etc.). The event is free with no charge—a free-will offering will be accepted at the end of the walk path.

A Holy Halloween will be located in the Children’s Memorial Garden at Do Good Restaurant and Ministry on the walkways and courtyard. We ask you enter through the courtyard, and park off site at the St. Nicholas Church, or Osgood Park. All three have sidewalks that will bring you to Do Good. There is lighting along the paths to Do Good. We cannot wait to see you there!

Today we celebrate National Infant Loss and Remembrance Day at Do Good, where we will light a candle in memory for each name on our Children’s Memorial Arches and Walls.

Please remember in your prayers an extra intention for the families whose child is on our memorial wall, and share with them the love of our Christian community in this difficult loss.

We're once again excited to offer our annual Nativity Nights for our families on the evenings of November 17th and 19th. Participate in a beautiful way as we capture the true meaning of Christmas. Bring your family or friends to the basement of Do Good and get your photo taken as you dress up as characters from the nativity scene. All costumes and props will be provided. Participants will receive a free printed and digital copy of their photo. Perfect for Christmas cards.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone involved in making the beautiful costumes that are used in the photoshoot, and to those who take the photos. We are blessed to have so many talented seamstresses and photographers in our area. Thank you for sharing your talents!

Growing your Faith tonight! Come and Join us at Do Good in the Upper Room!

What if caring for the mind and body could also open a door to deeper faith, stronger families, and renewed hope? We welcome Kim Rosenbeck-Rose, LPCC-S to our next Growing Your Faith on October 13, as she shares the mission and vision of something new taking shape in Celina. Spiritus Dei Wellness Center is bringing trusted wellness professionals, meaningful programs, and genuine human connection together in one place—with a vision for the whole person: body, mind, and soul.

At this talk, you will discover why Spiritus Dei was created, what makes its approach different, and how a faith-centered understanding of the human person can speak to real-life needs for healing, belonging, purpose, and connection. The Center is founded in faith and welcomes any background.

You will hear how Spiritus Dei is becoming a collaborative home for mission-aligned independent professionals, including Dr. Aaron Kuhn and his new counseling practice, Selah Space—and how the nonprofit will extend that impact through programs open to the wider community.

Beginning in winter 2027, proposed programs will address identity, dignity, relationships, mentoring for young women, sharing the story of salvation with children, and finding resilience and connection to Christ amid suffering. These are only the first steps in a much larger vision for wellness education, faith formation, youth and families, and community gathering.

Come hear what Spiritus Dei could mean for individuals, families, and our community—and discover how you might be part of what comes next.
