Posting early, Pioneer Woman Bread Pudding , soups and quiche are done so I can post. Yes I worked hard slicing beef and cutting 150 dumplings for the Chicken Dumpling soup, then went shopping. Picture also of the Ice Cream Turtle Pie we make, of course they don't let me make that, probably afraid of me tasting to much.

On a side note, saw several of you at the Main Street Music Hall show last night. I thought they did a really nice job, I was entertained for the whole show. You should see it if you get a chance, it is running all summer on different nights, check the schedule on their website.

Soups today:
Lobster Bisque

Annie is back so I caught a break on not having to work so hard. I had to shop at Aldi but only had to help with the orzo. It took three of us to drain it. Kay held the strainer, Annie poured it from the pan and I emptied the stained water so more could be done and then scraped the pan out. But for you all we will do what is necessary. Still have some of the chocolate cake left and Kay won't let us taste it again today.

Soups today:
Lemon Chicken Orzo
Beef Taco
French Onion Gnocchi

It has been a hard morning. Annie couldn't make it in so Kay was on me. I had to slice the roasted beef, slice the ham for the ham and cheese sandwich, clean the slicer twice, cut the mushrooms for the spinach mushroom quiche, make the tea for the day, put the quiche in the oven for her and yes even set the timer, clean up after myself at each station I worked at. Now I have to cook the noodles. A really hard day so far already worn out. And I will be in the kitchen today instead of out smiling and pestering you all. Kay has made a Chocolate Mayo Cake with white icing for us today, tasting is soon hopefully I need something for energy. Picture is the best I can do she is still icing it.

Soups today:
Lobster Bisque
Tomato
Beef and noodles

Cheddar Broccoli
Spinach Bacon

Beautiful day out today, been a busy morning dealing with a new Apple iPad to enter orders, some are out of date and have to be replaced. So a couple hours later I finally had it set up and I think working. In the process I had to cut the dumplings for the Chicken Dumpling soup, I must admit I was frustrated enough with the iPad that they aren't all the same size. So if you can all deal with that it is appreciated. Banana Cream pie tomorrow, still a little Lemon Raspberry Cake left for today. First summer show at
Main Street Music Hall tonight.

Soups today:
Clam Chowder
Black Bean
Chicken Dumpling

Cheddar Broccoli
Spinach Bacon

Good news is always welcome and despite having to shop and chop celery, I peeled and cut the potatoes yesterday, I wasn't made to slave except to cut and taste the cake. It is a Lemon Raspberry Cake and the raspberries were picked off my bushes with me taking all of the thorn pokes for you all. The raspberries are good this year with all the rain. Remember the Main Street Music Hall summer season starts Thursday night. Chicken Dumpling soup tomorrow.

Soups today:
Lobster Bisque
Creamy Potato
Creamy Mushroom with Chicken & Rice

It is Tuesday morning and not raining, so a good day today. Main Street Music Hall is getting ready to open for the summer season this week with 3 Main Street Opry performances, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm. Looking forward to it, I am planning on going Thursday or Friday. So good news for everyone that has been asking. We are going to be open for dinner before 3 shows this summer: June 26th, July 24th and August 7th. We will serve dinner before the shows from 5pm to 7pm. You can make reservations or just show up. Kay has maybe made the last Fresh Strawberry Pie for the year, we may be able to get good strawberries at some point but can't count on it. I am supposed to tell you we have really good soups today, we have been doing extra tasting and eating some this morning so they are good. Kittens are for sympathy, but if you want one I can try and catch it for you, they are a bit wild.

Soups today:
