This week, the Orrville Police Department proudly recognizes National Police Week 2026. Established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy, National Police Week honors the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers across the nation who work every day to protect our communities.

Police Week is an opportunity to remember the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, recognize the dedication of those who continue to serve, and show appreciation for the families who stand beside them.

To our officers, thank you for your courage, professionalism, and commitment to keeping Orrville safe. Your service does not go unnoticed.
